Mindfulness Refresher/Taster Session

Mindfulness is about moving away from a ‘thinking-based’ way of living into a more direct and immediate connection with our everyday experience. It involves learning to pay attention to our experiences in the present moment, leaving behind ruminations of the past and worry about the future, helping us to feel a sense of calm and connection with ourselves and those around us. Research has shown Mindfulness can help us deal with stress and anxiety and help us find relief from chronic pain.
We will be practising mindfulness meditations and it is a group open to all – from those experienced in mindfulness practice to those who are curious and want to find out more
